Anotace
Basis for the emergence of thus monograph was the dissertation thesis. Social needs of senior’s in both urban and rural areas. This monograph could be immediately helpful for those who choose to work in the field of social work. Social work, as one of the helping professions and disciplines seeks not only for primary senior’s needs, but for senior’s social needs also, because the quality of life in this period is very important. We consider it important to have respect for senior citizens, since man is able to learn and create ins their old age, too. A man nas his own needs in his life and a social worker as professional is nere to help. We believe that studying this publication, the reader will know and perceive social work as a practical activity. We hope to stimulate debate especially the young generation to be more thought to what seniors need to better survival of old age.
