It contains scans which cover both normal anatomy and pathology, augmented by detailed notation and 5mm sections spaced 2.5mm apart to provide a complete depiction of the pelvis. Two bodies (one male, one female) are used for all of the images, to allow easy correlation of axial, sagittal and coronal planes.
